Friends of Longwood is a group of parents and friends raising money for the children in Longwood school. They were set up in 2004 when a small group of parents got together and organised a Christmas fair. Over £1000 was raised at that event.

Since then various fundraising events have been held varying from
  • Raffles
  • Guess the weight of a cake
  • Summer fair
We voluntarily run a toast club during break times on a tuesday and thursday for the children bringing in a healthier option to crisps and sweets and its something warm on a cold day.
Future planned events include;
  • A Race Night Saturday May 19th 7pm onwards - Bring all the family
  • Summer Fair Saturday 23rd June 1-4pm Barbeque,Ballet performance,miniature horses, Motor Bikes on Display,Raffle, Tombola's ,games and stalls and much more.
All welcome
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
