Trading Standards have received information about a company that is approaching the community through door to door sales, trying to sell battery powered all in one alarm systems which includes a burglar alarm and smoke detector. NEW TRADING STANDARD ALERTS
Trading Standards Officers are warning about mobility companies operating in the Staffordshire area. They may cold call to your home, use high pressure sales techniques and may not provide you any cancellation rights. They may even say they are from Social Services. Trading Standards have today been informed of a scam email claiming to be from Interswitch Nigeria. The email states that new security measures have been introduced to make transactions more secure. |
