COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND ….. for local projects

Information About the Community Development Fund

Did you know that HomeZone will sponsor local projects through its Community Development Fund?

We have a small budget set up to support local community based projects. Provided an application meets our criteria and charitable status requirements, we will fund up to £1,000 for a project.

Criteria and Charitable Status Requirements

Favorable consideration will be given to projects that can demonstrate:

• Sustainability

• Supports individuals that are in need or who may have ill health

or other disabilities

• Other disadvantaged individuals who may suffer financial hardship

• A need for match funding

• The prevention or relief of poverty

• The advancement of education

• The advancement of health or the saving of lives

• The advancement of citizenship or community development

• The advancement of environmental protection or improvement

• The advancement of amateur sport

We will also look to fund projects which provide amenities, activities or services for local people as long as they fall in line with the above criteria.
